The 2020 KY Trade Show is quickly approaching!

The members of the board of directors are very excited about this years trade show!  We believe this will be another step forward for both the Association and for you, the Driller, to:

  • Interact with suppliers, regulators, and industry leaders.
  • Round Table discussion with the Division of Water and members of the Water Well Certification Board on upcoming changes to regulations which govern our industry.
  • Auction to benefit the Scholarship Fund.  PLEASE COME READY TO BUY!

    *Classes may be amended due to instructor availability, but all classes will count toward Continuing Education credits.

One of the big changes in our trade show this year will be the addition for more CEU hours. Kentucky has changed their laws to allow for driller’s assistants. This basically allows newer drillers the opportunity to drill water wells and/or monitor wells without being a state licensed driller. They will still be drilling under the direct supervision of a state licensed driller, but the licensed driller is not required to be onsite during the drilling operations. The driller assistant is also required to pass the state water well and/or monitor well test, but not required to pass the NGWA test. They will be required to obtain 8 hours of CEU hours per year. With this change for the state, our trade show will offer up to 8 CEU hours as required for the driller’s assistant. In the past, the show has only offered up to 6 CEU hours. This is a big change for our state and for our trade show!

The 2020 Trade show is being held at the Holiday Inn Louisville East, Hurstbourne on February 27th & 28th, 2020.  Applications for Vendors and Memberships are below for you to complete.  Please contact Amos Moses immediately if you plan on attending! Also, we have continued last year’s pricing model to keep our pricing more simple for you for the 2020 Trade Show.  ONE PRICE will include BOTH your admission to the 2019 KYGWA Trade Show and your membership in the KYGWA.  Applications received by Feb 7th will be $125, and those received after that date will be $175Spouse/Friend cost is $65/person, but will not get credit towards CEU Hours.

Also, discounts will be available for room reservations at the Holiday Inn Louisville East Hurstbourne.  YOU MUST CALL TO GET THE REDUCED RATE NO LATER THAN FEB 12th, 2020!
